Help with Kind.

Affelion Kind for iOS · Updated October 19, 2026

Get in touch

Email hello@affelion.com for help. You can ask about the app, purchases, privacy or product safety.

Tell us your app version, device type and a few words about the issue. Do not send private chats, health records, passwords or card details. We may ask for a store order reference if we need it to check a purchase.

What Kind can and cannot do

Kind offers ready-made words for day-to-day talks. It does not give medical, mental health or legal advice. It does not replace help from a trained expert.

Kind cannot spot, treat or prevent health problems. It cannot judge your safety, health or relationship. It cannot know what someone else means or promise a response or outcome. No health expert or other trained adviser checks your choices.

Do not put off expert help due to what you read in Kind. For health concerns, ask a trained health expert. If you face control, threats, stalking or abuse, seek a service trained to help with that issue. Do not rely on a stock message.

Urgent help

If you or someone else is in danger now, call your local emergency number. Kind and email support are not emergency services. Neither calls for help for you.

Find support can open a list of helplines on another site. It needs internet access. It does not replace emergency services. If someone checks your device, think about using a safer device.

When contact is not welcome

Do not use Kind to evade a block, a request for no contact or a legal restriction. Choose wording only if it fits the situation and contact is welcome and safe. You can always leave a message unsent.

If you are a teenager

If someone puts pressure on you, threatens you or makes you feel unsafe, think about talking to a trusted adult or a youth support service. Choose someone safe to approach. You do not need to find the perfect message to deal with an unsafe situation.

Do not email us your school, exact location, private chats or intimate images. Kind support helps with the app. It does not offer private mental health advice or emergency help.

What Copy does

Kind copies text; it does not send messages. If copying fails, the words remain available to select or retry. Your clipboard and any app where you paste text follow your device settings and that service's practices.

Buying and restoring access

Kind has two sections: Personal messages and Work & clients.

Standard Personal words are free to browse, edit and copy, including other wording options. Existing words you keep for yourself and Find support stay free. The Personal messages purchase adds guided aims, tones and lengths for personal replies. Its current US price is $9.99, paid once. If you already bought Kind's original Guided choices purchase, that purchase continues to unlock Personal messages. It does not include Work & clients.

Work & clients is a separate one-time purchase. Its current US price is $19.99. It includes replies for extra revisions, overdue invoices and rush requests. You can try an editable fictional example before buying. After unlocking, add your own facts, choose an aim, tone and length, and edit the reply before copying it or leaving it unsent.

These purchases are not subscriptions. Apple shows the price before you buy. Use Restore purchases with the Apple Account you used to buy. Buying Personal does not unlock Work, and buying Work does not unlock Personal. Buying from one store does not give access in another store or on the web.

If a payment check stops, do not assume you were not charged. Check your Apple purchase history before trying again. If approval from a parent or guardian is required, wait for that approval. A pending request does not unlock access. Do not use someone else's way to pay without permission.

For Apple purchases, use Apple's purchase support at https://reportaproblem.apple.com/ . Email hello@affelion.com if you cannot access content you paid for.

Your legal rights

This page does not take away rights or ways to seek redress that the law protects. Refunds, rights to cancel and purchase terms depend on the law that applies and the store used. We do not set a blanket “no refunds” rule here.

For iOS, Apple's standard app license applies under Apple's rules if no custom license is set. This page does not make you give up rights or agree to arbitration.

Language and where to use Kind

The app is in English. Picking a country for help does not change its language or mean it fits every country. Before adding a language, we must check the translated screens, words, safety guidance and purchase details.

General wording. Your choice whether to use it.
